The next section of the Twister scarf crochet pattern continues here, refer to post 1 here if you missed it. The middle section consists of the same four rows repeated until the scarf is the desired length, then the final section ( here) details how to make the triangular end into a rectangle!

MATERIALS

Hobbii Twister in any colour from http://shop.hobbii.com/clm-hobbii com  or equivalent 4ply/ fingering weight yarn cake

Crochet hook   3:50 mm

Scissors

Tapestry needle

GAUGE

6 shell arcs x 14 rows = 4 inches (10.5 cm)

Ch3, sc section = 8 x ch3, sc = 4 inches (10.5 cm) x 4rows = 1.5 inches (4cm)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Width 16inches (41 cm) x length 100 inches (254 cm)

 

Row 1: Ch 3, skip first small space, sc1 into 2nd space, ch 3, sc 1, dc 9 (check the dc shells are in line with previous shell, see photo) , *sc 1, ch 3* x 11 times, dc 9, sc 1 into next space, ch 3, central increase into top space (dc 3, ch 3, dc 3) ch 3, sc 1, dc 9, *sc 1, ch 3* x 11 times, dc 9, sc 1, ch 3, sc 1, ch 1, dc 1 into final space, turn

Row 2 : Ch 3, skip first small space, sc 1 into second space, ch 3, miss 2 dc, sc 5 into next 5 dc of shell, ch 3, miss 2 dc, * sc 1, ch 3* x 11 times, central increase ( as previous row) , repeat in reverse down other side to last space, ch 1, dc 1 into final space, turn

Row 3 : ch 3, sc 1, ch 3,  1sc into 3rd of the group of 5sc in previous row, *3ch, 1sc 3ch* to next sc 5,  centre top, central increase (3dc, 3ch, 3dc) repeat in reverse down other side

Row 4 : Repeat *ch 3, sc 1* till centre top, central increase, repeat *ch 3, sc 1* down other side to last space, ch 1, dc 1, turn
