Northern hemisphere beanie, Southern hemisphere bucket hat crochet pattern

This two in one crochet beanie and bucket hat pattern will be useful to you at any time of the year!

In winter make a cosy beanie and in summer make a sun shading bucket hat with just a few small variations on the basic pattern.

I have used 8 ply / DK cotton, but feel free to also use DK acrylic yarn or wool or any other fibre in a similar thickness for the winter beanie as well.
